This unique theme park offers a wide range of rides including a new water ride ‘Plunge’, adventure ride Redback, a Giant Slide, Wild Mouse Rollercoaster, Dodgems, Mini Golf, Ferris Wheel, Bizzy Buggies, and the Swinging Ship and Octopus ride. There are also plenty to do for little kids including the Tin Lids Tea Party ride, the Carousel, Tykes Trolley, and a crowd favourite, Side Show Alley. Any of these joy rides and games will amuse young kid’s right up to adults for the whole day.
If you haven’t already been thrilled by Aussie World’s excitement then have a go driving atAustralia’s largest commercial go kart track. 1.2 kilometres of standard racetrack going 60 kilometres per hour in one of their 50 go karts in the exhilarating experience they offer at Big Kart Track. Since 1983 the track has grown and improved to provide you with a fun and safe experience.
Home of the Crocodile Hunter, Australia Zoo is full of wildlife and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. With over 1,200 animals from cuddly koala’s right up to jaw dropping crocs you have the change to get up close and learn about different animals whilst being given the opportunity to have your photo taken with some of your favourite’s. Free live shows are also available to watch zoo keepers interact with the animals and teach you about their habitable instincts and lifestyles.
Markets are a popular weekend event on the Sunshine Coast. There are over 25 markets running throughout the Sunshine Coast providing fresh fruit and vegies, blissful flowers, unique household tools, clothes and many more useful items. The majority of markets open around seven o’clock in the morning and finish around twelve. Popular markets are Eumundi, Caloundra, Maroochydore and Maleny.
